🧊PYCSIR Release!!!

Hello sweet sweet people! Today is the day!

To Put Your Childhood Sweetheart Into A Refrigerator [O2A2 Edition] is out now!🎉

This is the first time I (Sinope) and my friend Norika have participated in a game jam "properly" — that is, creating an entirely new game from scratch, strictly within the jam period. It's been a completely new experience for us, and an incredibly fun one! Although our friend and team member Whitefish couldn't join us this time, she still gave us some helpful input on the script — thank you!

It's also our very first time stepping outside our little team to collaborate with someone new. A huge thank-you to Amara, who carefully proofread and edited our English translation. She also helped revise many details that I, as a non-native English speaker, wouldn't have noticed at all, polished the text and made the translation clearer and more accurate. If you're playing the game in English, please send your thanks her way!

(Honestly, she made me kind of want to find a proofreader for our main project too — but unfortunately, just working on the English translation already takes up so much time and energy that I don't really have the capacity to polish it even further...)

This was also our first time trying to add voice acting, and my first time acting as a voice director! Thank you to everyone who put in the time and effort to send us auditions, and special thanks to to Khai, our voice actor for Akira. It was such a pleasant and wonderful experience working with him. Hearing our own character actually speak for the first time was incredibly meaningful for us — and Khai's voice acting made it even more special. I honestly hope you'll enjoy his performance as much as I did.

I also want to thank the O2A2 organisers for providing this opportunity to try something new, and for building such a vibrant and welcoming community through DevTalk. As developers who are usually very inward-focused, it's been so refreshing to connect with others.

And finally, I want to thank my wonderful friend and teammate Norika for her creativity during the jam, and myself — for managing not only the behind-the-scenes chaos of making a game, but also the everyday messiness of life. It's been a wonderful experience and I'm genuinely proud of what we've made together.

We hope you enjoy the game! Please consider rating and commenting — we'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'd also like to share a bit about our future update plans.

Due to the limitations of O2A2, we had to leave out many ideas and little design touches we originally really loved — specifically, some custom GUI text and the special corresponding effects, as well as more text variations we wanted to include. We also didn't have time to complete the full voiceover.

So, we'll be working on an enhanced version for Yaoi Jam, where we plan to add everything we couldn't fit in this time. But first… we need a bit of rest.😌

If you liked the game and would like to support our work, please consider donating or joining us on Patreon — we've just launched our Kickoff Event! Early supporters will receive:

  • Exclusive member discounts
  • A free digital art pack
  • And access to our upcoming dev bundle for To Put Your Childhood Sweetheart Into a Refrigerator

Thank you so much for reading — and I truly hope you enjoy the game!💕
